The Meadows

The Meadows is a small and friendly, natural campsite in a sheltered valley and caters just for adults. It is close to Pentewan Sands, Mevagissey, Charlestown and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Touring Caravans, Motor Homes/Camper Vans and Tents are catered for and well behaved dogs are most welcome. Unlike many other campsites camp fires are encouraged (off the ground). If you want to camp hassle free we have two vintage caravans "Lottie" and "Mabel" available for rental.

The Meadows is in a lovely sheltered sunny spot, with a stream running along one side and plenty of wildlife to watch.

There are 20 Electric Hook Ups available and you can choose a camping pitch to suit you, whether this is by the stream for duck watch, or another preferred sunny and sheltered spot. The site is a large flat meadow field, with natural lumps and bumps. We have also created some new secluded meadow pitches for our guests who enjoy "wild camping".

There is a small shop in the reception office, for your essential items, including eggs and local Cornish milk. We also now stock the scrumptious Roskillys organic ice-cream, another essential summer produce, to be eaten with or without John's homemade cake.

The Meadows is a great base to explore this lovely area of Cornwall. It is close to the Eden Project - one of the UK's most visited attractions. The campsite adjoins the beautiful Pentewan Valley Cycle Trail so is ideal for cyclists and walkers.
