Leekworth Caravan Park

Leekworth Caravan Park is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty near the historic market town of Middleton-in-Teesdale and surrounded by the North Pennines.

The park is set on the banks of the River Tees and there are lovely views all around. Only a 10 minute walk away is Middleton with its country shops and cafes.

Leekworth welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents and electric hook-ups and hard standing pitches are available. There are also seasonal pitches, pitch and store and winter storage available.

There is a bunkhouse sleeping upto five people with a log burning stove, sink, W.C. and seating area inside plus an outdoor patio area and fire pit. All you need to bring is your sleeping bags and general camping equipment.

The park has first-class facilities with a newly built toilet and shower block providing free showers with under floor heating throughout and hairdryer electric points.

The area around Leekworth is a walkers paradise with the famous Teesdale walk cutting through the site and joining onto the Pennine Way.

With fantastic facilities on site, free fishing and so much to do in the area, from miles and miles of footpaths to explore in glorious countryside, to museums, gardens and attractions we are confident that your stay will be one to remember.

7 new seasonal pitches are available for 2016. Your seasonal pitch comes with electric, water, hard standing, with a free bonus of the stunning surrounding views of hills, trees, and the River Tees.

DIRECTIONS

As you enter Middleton-in-Teesdale at the bottom of the hill take the second left turn after the telephone box into Leekworth Gardens. Turn right shortly after down a farm track and follow this right down to the farmhouse where you turn to the left on to the site.
