The Old Rectory Caravan and Camping Park is in a lovely setting in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Devon and Cornwall border.

The small 5 acre park is family run with just eleven touring pitches, four timber camping pods, space for approximately twenty tents and a two bedroomed former coach house, converted to a stunning holiday let. There are lovely views from the park towards Dartmoor.

The facilities block has recently been extended and modernised and now has full disabled facilities. There is free hot water, grey waste disposal and laundry facilities.

For children at The Old Rectory Caravan and Camping Park there is a play area, with swings, slide and look-out post, all standing on soft bark. There is also a large grassed area for ball games.

OUT AND ABOUT

Locally there are plenty of outdoor and indoor activities, and many of Devon and Cornwall's major attractions are within easy reach.

Just two miles from The Old Rectory Caravan and Camping Park is the historic market town of Tavistock, with its award winning farmers market, pannier market, exclusive shops and cafes, swimming pool, cinema, and arts centre.

Within walking distance is Morwellham Quay, home to the television series Edwardian Farm.

Dartmoor is a stones throw away for walking and hiking, there are also plenty of National Trust sites close by.

For the more adventurous there is canoeing on the River Tamar, Tree surfing, and Downhill mountain bike tracks, all within a mile of the park.
