Walkmill Campsite is located in a private setting next to the banks of the River Coquet for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy the countryside and wish to explore its virtues.

Set in 10.5 acres of Northumberland countryside, this quiet and surreal small holding surrounded by the River Coquet is amongst some idyllic woodland walks with public footpaths, just 5 minutes from Warkworth Castle and fabulous beaches. Walkmill Campsite offers a fantastic vacation with unprecedented privacy and space.

Walkmill Campsite is ideally placed for anyone wanting to have an outdoor / activity holiday. Within a mile of the coast & castles cycle route. From the top of our track it is a 30 minute walk to Warkworth Castle. Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions are welcome. Local surf schools in nearby Amble.

There are 6 pitches available for touring caravans / motorhomes close to the main property at Walkmill, which can be supplied with an electric hook up. plus an additional 3 pitches available for tourers down in the crook of the River Coquet without hook ups.

Walkmill Campsite has 10 spacious tent pitches located near to the river away from the main property. The tent pitches do not have an electric hook up. Our Static caravan acts as our Visitor Information Centre with bathroom facilities available to include a hot shower if required. These facilities are primarily for tent users or older touring caravans/ campervans who do not have shower facilities. There are also 2 portable toilets located adjacent to the static caravan. A cold water tap is available at the back of the main house.
