Chainbridge Camping & Caravan Park

Chainbridge Camping & Caravan Park is a quiet little 4 star, adult only site on the England - Scotland border. The park is just 50 yards from the River Tweed and just inland from Northumberland's magnificent sandy beaches and makes a great base for exploring this beautiful area.

The caravan park is named after the nearby Union Chain Bridge, which bridges the England and Scotland border across the River Tweed.

Touring caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome at Chainbridge Camping & Caravan Park. Touring pitches are generously sized hard standings, large enough for caravan, awning and car. Motorhome pitches have grey water disposal.

Chainbridge Camping & Caravan Park  has modern shower/toilet facilities with underfloor heating, laundry (coin meter), Iron/board, Freezer, Microwave, Vegetable preparation/dish wash area, Information Room, Common Room and TV Room.

Take a walk along the river where as well as leaping salmon and trout, you may well see otters, kingfishers, swans and ducks. You might even see a seal! Its a short riverside walk to Paxton House with its beautiful gardens.

Startling beach vistas with miles of golden sandy beaches. More castles and fortified houses than any other English county including those of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Warkworth and Alnwick. As well as some spectacular attractions such as The Alnwick Garden, Cragside House and Gardens and the World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall.

Places of interest within around half an hour of Chainbridge Camping & Caravan Park are Berwick, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle, the Farne Islands, Alnwick Castle and gardens, Coldstream, Kelso and Melrose. Edinburgh is 50 minutes away and the famous Chainbridge Honey Farm is right next door!
