Budle Bay Campsite

Budle Bay Campsite is friendly and quiet and is situated 2 miles north of the spectacular village of Bamburgh with its coastal castle dominating the 16 miles of golden sand dunes and beaches.

Nestling in Northumberland's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site is 200m from the mud flats of Budle Bay which is renowned for its bird life and situated within a picturesque tree lined Northumberland valley with a small river flowing along one side of the campsite.

Budle Bay Campsite caters for touring caravans, motor homes, campervans, trailer tents and tents on grass pitches. There is also a basic 14 bed bunkhouse, Eco sheds and a small children's playground with swings and a slide.

If you fancy camping without all the hassle of erecting a tent, just bring your sleeping bag and pillow and rent one of our purpose built Eco Sheds (sleep 2-5 people).

There is a communal cooking hut nearby, equipped with gas hobs, microwave and fridge freezer for Eco Shed guests only. There is a no smoking policy in all Eco Sheds.

Also there is a Bunkhouse that sleeps up to 14 people which has a kitchen, a communal living area and a veranda for sitting out on warm evenings. It is also next to the shower and toilet block and car parking is close by.

Just on the doorstep of Budle Bay Campsite are Lindisfarne Island, The Farnes, The Coastal Cycle Route, Alnwich Castle and the coastal splendour of this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
