Camping & Caravanning

Faerie-thyme is a small and secluded adults only campsite set in beautiful peaceful countryside, surrounded by ancient woodland.

This is not your normal kind of campsite but more like wild camping and can be truly magical. A place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

We have four different types of pitch:

? Regular camping pitches;

? Camping pitches with firepits;

? Pitches for caravans or motorhomes with electric hook ups;

? Woodland pitches

Four of our camping pitches now have their own covered area and firepit where you can toast marshmallows and let your inner child out.

There is a lovely old caravan, aka Katie, in the corner of the field with its own little garden which you can rent for a romantic hideaway weekend. It has its own covered firepit area.

The site has all the amenities to make your holiday simply special such as chemical disposal point, water taps, washing up area and recycling bins. We have six electric hook-ups for caravans or motorhomes, one of which is suitable for tents. We have a lovely shower/wet room and loos which are all located close by. Nothing is very far away, this is only a 3acre site!

NEW FOR 2014 - CRAFT COURSES

Starting in spring 2014 we will be running various craft courses. You will be able to add these courses to your holiday and come and learn basic greenwood skills, willow weaving, foraging and bushcrafts. Or you can come as a day visitor without camping.

Getting married and want a very different hen party? How about coming to Faerie-thyme with your closest friends, spend the weekend learning traditional crafts and make an heirloom quilt for the bride-to-be, favours, decorations and bunting for the big day?
