Camping & Caravanning

Downshay Farm is a working dairy farm in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck and is ideally located for exploring this beautiful area. There are lovely views of Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills from the farm.

CAMPING

There is a large field for tents and small campervans where you can pitch where you like and allows you to spread out, relax and enjoy your holiday. Children are welcome, as are quiet, well behaved dogs on a lead.

Facilities include three toilet blocks, showers, hot water, freezers for ice packs, hair drying point and washing-up areas. A mobile shop visits every morning during the peak season.

CARAVANS

There is a lawned and terraced site on three levels for caravans, campervans and trailer tents. A private tarmaced access road leads to the 12 pitches, all with electric hook-ups and the most superb views.

BED AND BREAKFAST

The farmhouse offers a spacious double room with en-suite shower, Flat screen TV (freeview) and tea/coffee making facilities provided.

OUT AND ABOUT

The seaside town of Swanage is just over 2 miles away as are the sandy beaches of Studland Bay. Local footpaths and a Steam Railway also make exploring Purbeck easy.

DIRECTIONS

Take the A351 through Corfe Castle to Swanage. After 2 miles turn right at Harmans Cross into Haycrafts Lane. Pass the Village Hall on your right, over the railway bridge and up the hill. Downshay Farm is the second turning on the right.
