Situated in the North York Moors National Park at the edge of Cropton Forest, and a mile out from the village of Newton-upon-Rawcliffe, which has a family pub, tea room, children's play area and tennis courts.

Newton-upon-Rawcliffe on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park has its own centuries-old duck pond and village green. It resides close to the stunning valley of Newton Dale, near Pickering. Nearby are the fascinating and mysterious earthworks of Cawthorn Roman Camps and the Roman road 'Wade's Causeway'.

Only 5 miles from Pickering, which has a wealth of facilities, including restaurants, a supermarket, swimming pool and the North York Moors Railway itself. Enjoy views of the North York Moors Railway whilst walking through stunning countryside.

You can be into the Moors in just minutes by car, and you are also within easy access to Scarborough, Whitby and York.
