Castle Farm Campsite

In a beautiful setting with spectacular views over the Somerset Levels is Castle Farm Campsite. It is situated about a mile from the lovely village of Wedmore.

There are miles of peaceful roads and tracks for cycling and walking and it is a bird watchers paradise.

Castle Farm Campsite welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes and facilities include showers, toilets, a washing up area and a fridge freezer. There are 12 electric hook ups and a chemical disposal point.

Sharing the farm with you will be Jeffrey, Percy and Albert the alpacas, sometimes cows and sheep and maybe escapee chickens! Ruby and Rex the farm collies are often about too.

Wedmore has a village pub and an excellent range of clothing and food shops. The village combines cottages and grand houses from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries and many excellent examples of Georgian and Victorian styles plus a lovely 15th century church.

The nature reserves of Westhay and Shapwick Heath are a short drive or cycle away but you can often see the birds from the campsite, especially swans, herons and birds of prey.

Castle Farm Campsite is a 10 to 15 minute drive from the M5, Cheddar, Wells, Wookey Hole, Burnham-on-Sea, Glastonbury and Street (Clarks Village). We are about 30 minutes from Weston-Super-Mare. Longleat, Bath and Bristol are all under an hour.
