Bank Top Farm has a small campsite which is ideal for that "get away from it all" break in beautiful surroundings.
The family-run caravan and camping site is on a working farm just outside Ashbourne in the Peak District National Park.
Touring Caravans, Motor Homes, Trailer Tents and Tents are welcome and the majority of the pitches are flat. There is a seperate grass area for non hook-up tent pitches.

OUT AND ABOUT
The area is ideal for walking with a maze of footpaths in all directions for you to discover the Derbyshire countryside. Thorpe Cloud, Dovedale and the stepping stones are reached across the fields. Walking and cycling is available on the nearby Tissington Trails. Horse Riding at the Tissington Trekking Centre is within easy reach of the site.
Carsington Water is a short distance away by car and offers walking, cycling (cycles available for hire) boating and fly fishing together with the opportunity of studying the abundance of wildlife from hides by the water's edge.
For those interested in coarse fishing, there are lakes at Ednaston, 6 miles away which allow days tickets.
The town of Ashbourne has plenty to offer for those who like to browse or take life at a more steady pace, there is also a Leisure centre with an indoor swiming pool.
For those wishing to explore historic houses, both Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are within striking distance as are the towns of Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton and Matlock. Sudbury Hall which houses the National Children's Museum is also within easy distance by car.
For families with children, Alton Towers with its rides and excitements is approximately 20 minutes away, Buxton is well known for its Theatrical and architectural heritage.
