We welcome everyone to the campsite and try really, really hard for everyone who comes to stay, however, we do realise no matter how hard you try you cannot please everyone all of the time (as the saying goes!). Please be friendly and polite, we won't tolerate rude, threatening or aggressive behaviour and we always reserve the right to refuse admission where we feel the need arises.

OUT AND ABOUT
In Monyash there is a fantastic local pub, The Bull's Head (once known as The Hobbit and was twinned with the Prancing Pony in Foolow), serving hearty pub food which can be eaten in the beer garden, in the bar or in the restaurant, next to the pub is the renowned Smithy Cafe/Bistro famous for its hearty breakfasts, ice creams and its muddy boots welcome sign. Behind the pub and cafe is a wonderful adventure playground which is open to all.
From the village green you can wander out of the village in many directions along the excellent network of footpaths, one of those being the popular Limestone Way which meanders it's way through the wonderful Peak District countryside. Visitors who stop off in the village on this walk have passed through Cromford, Bonsall and Youlgreave coming from the south and from the north they have taken in Castleton, Tideswell, Millers Dale, Taddington and Flagg.
A short walk out of the village will take you to Parsley Hay where you can join the Tissington and High Peak Trails. You can walk or hire a bicycle from the cycle hire centre, they even have a couple of electric bikes if you are feeling lazy. From here the trail splits and you can either take in Alsop,Tissington, Thorpe and Ashbourne, skirting the renowned Dove Dale, on the Tissington Trail or head out towards Middleton, Black Rocks and Cromford on the High Peak Trail.
For the nature lovers there is a fantastic journey through Lathkill Dale National Nature Reserve towards Over Haddon, Alport and Youlgreave. The dale stretches for around five miles along a flower filled limestone gorge, depending on the time of year you can find cowslips, orchids anenomes, Jacobs Ladder and many other species of rare flowers. Thousands of Ash trees grow along the dale sides with one of Derbyshires cleanest rivers emerging from the limestone rocks and a huge cave.
Days out from the campsite can be filled with a trip to the wonderful Spa town of Buxton, taking in a show at the famous opera house, take the kids (big and little) to Go Ape.
