Our family run farm in Prestwood, Staffordshire is nestled on the side of a hill in the the idylic countryside of the Churnet valley.

Surrounded by rolling fields, woodland, lakes and with stunning views over the Weaver hills and the tranquil valley below, this is truly a piece of paradise.

With a small campsite , bed and breakfast and a self catering cottage at the farm, there is accommodation to suit everyone.

Our small, secluded eco-campsite at Farm on the Hill is set on the edge of a newly planted woodland and wildflower meadow, in the idylic countryside of Prestwood.

From the campsite you can explore, either on foot or by bike the beautiful,and undiscovered Churnet valley with its hidden lakes and stunning scenery - you may even catch sight of a kingfisher down by the stream, or the allusive green woodpecker.

The area surrounding the farm has many great cycle routes including gentle trails along the old churnet valley railway line, cycle ways through the woods around Dimmingsdale, to quiet country lane routes around local history points including Croxden Abbey.

Barbecues are provided for you to use and charcoal is available for sale on the farm.

There is also a communal fire circle that can be used; there's nothing quite like a campfire to provide the perfect end to the perfect day.

For those of you wanting to explore the local area(although there really is no need!!), the Peak District is only 7 miles away, the historic towns of the Potteries, Sudbury Hall and the museum of Childhood, or even Alton Towers are also close by.
