Glenfield Leisure Park is a friendly leisure park situated in the beautiful village of Pilling just outside Knott End On Sea. The park is surrounded by open fields which enhances the tranquil setting.

Glenfield is extremely well maintained with 130 pitches, The park has extensive landscaping of trees to complement the surrounding countryside. The park is completely flat with all tarmac roads and vintage street lighting. Glenfield also benefits from 24 hour CCTV recording all around the park with a security barrier at the entrance.

Another thing that will catch your eye is the range of fountains and waterfalls spread across the site. All of the homes are supplied with mains services and are sited on concrete bases. The rest of the site boasts well maintained grassed areas with mature trees offer shade and privacy.

OUT AND ABOUT

Glenfield Leisure Park provides an ideal base from which to tour the surrounding area. The leisure park nestles in unspoilt countryside, within easy reach of Blackpool, Morecambe, and the smaller Fylde coast resorts, historic Lancaster and the Forest of Bowland. The Lake District is only one hour's drive away offering hiking, sailing and mountaineering.

The picturesque and well kept village of Pilling is within easy walking distance of the park. A small children's play area is available there. A Post Office and local stores in and around the village cater for most household needs. A visit to the famous Pilling Pottery is worthwhile as well as the excellent cuisine of nearby restaurants and country pubs.

The Lancashire Coastal Way runs just to the north of the village and offers ample opportunites from which to view the local countryside with views to the Lake District across Morecambe Bay.

The countryside offers many countryside and coastal footpaths with adjoining lanes that allow ample opportunity for walking and cycling. The area is very popular with birdwatchers and fishermen, whilst the more athletic will find most sports facilities available from the nearby lesiure centres at Garstang, Lancaster and Preston.

DIRECTIONS

M6 Junction 33 Join the A6 and head south towards Garstang, then turn right towards Glasson Dock and Cockerham. Follow road over bridge and at the end take a right turn into Cockerham. At the junction next to the Manor Inn turn left to Pilling. Travel this road through open countryside and look for a right turn on a sharp left bend (brown sign รข??Pilling Pottery') At end of this road travel straight across bridge past Golden Ball Pub and Glenfield Leisure Park is on the right hand side.
