The country inn has a crackling log fire in the lounge and a great old apple press that dates back to 1770 in the restaurant, which adds to the inn's charm and character.

At the rear of the site's beer garden in the paddock area is where the campsite is located. At the campsite guests can enjoy magnificent views of rolling Shropshire countryside as the site is set in an Area of Outstanding Beauty.

? Church Stretton and its picturesque surrounding villages is for country lovers and sportsmen alike at all times of the year whether hikers, horse riders, mountain bikers, or naturalists . The Long Mynd rising above the west of the town is renowned for gliding, hang gliding and paragliding, and boasts the second highest golf course in England.

Renowned to be one of England's most splendid heritage towns with over 600 listed buildings.

? Bridgnorth, in reality, is two towns: the High Town (good views down) and the Low Town (good views up). Now connected by the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain.

? Telford, named after Thomas Telford the renowned civil engineer, Telford's gleaming buildings and hi tech businesses mark it out as a town for the future. One of the UK's fastest growing and most successful new towns - it contrasts with its historic neighbour Ironbridge the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.
