Whitmead Forest Park is in Lyndney, Gloucestershire, in the heart of the Forest of Dean.

It is the perfect location for the whole family. You can relax and enjoy the peace of the countryside or make use of the Parks facilities to have an action-packed holiday break. Dogs are welcome at an extra charge but we also have pet free accommodation.

CAMPING AND CARAVANNING

There are over 110 pitches, all in picturesque areas. The Meadow, The Hollow and the Mead are on a mixture of grass and 50% are reinforced or gravel hard standing and all have electric hook ups.

Whitemead Forest Park has toilets, hot showers, family bathrooms and disabled facilities. All facilities on site are included in the price, so that there are no hidden extras.

There are washing up areas, chemical disposal units, rubbish points and laundry rooms. All the facilities are modern and designed for your every comfort.

GLAMPING PODS

The MegaPods offer a great, eco-friendly alternative to a tent whilst retaining all the ambience of a 'camping holiday'. A great value holiday destination (whatever the weather), the MegaPods bring lodge-style luxury at truly affordable prices.

There are also log cabins and apartments to rent, they are all doubled glazed and heated with parking outside your door and we cater for large and small families.

Whitemead Forest Park amenities are varied and guaranteed to suit all tastes. The children can make the most of the play areas, both indoor and out including soft play. There's a games room, a gym, a sauna with steam room and Jacuzzi and an indoor heated pool with a children's area.

Restaurants and bars on site serve hearty meals good beer and fine wines and also provide free WiFi. The shop is well stocked with all your basic foodstuffs and any treats you might fancy like cakes, sweets and fizzy drinks.

During the day there are a host of organised family activities and in the evening you can enjoy live bands, quiz nights and there's even a kid's disco.

OUT AND ABOUT

The Forest of Dean has some amazing sights and you can really get back to nature here, because it's not only the beautiful hills, streams and woods, but you'll also get to see wonderful animals, birds, insects and plant life.

In an hour you can be in the picturesque village of Bourton-on- the-Water, where amongst other things you can visit the CSMA Club's Motoring Museum take a look at motoring through the decades and you can also see Brum, the little yellow car all children love.
