Humble Bee Farm

Humble Bee Farm is a working arable and stock farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. The site offers three Four Star Gold luxury holiday cottages, spacious caravan and camping pitches and 12 Wigwams. Humble Bee is a fabulous holiday destination for a family holiday, a romantic weekend break or for a few days of relaxation near the rugged and beautiful Yorkshire Coast.

Humble Bee Farm is set in a tranquil location away from the hustle and bustle, a perfect base for exploring the area.

Sit back and watch Farmer Percy drive his tractor around his 325 hectare farm, which has sheep, cows, goats, ducks, hens, and guinea fowl. You can even collect an egg for breakfast! See lambs born during springtime, cows and calves in the pastures during summer, golden fields being harvested in the autumn and take brisk walks during the winter.

Humble Bee has on-site reception and shop, two toilet and shower blocks, a children’s play area, and a duck pond. Sit back and relax around a Humble Bee campfire (firepit) with the glorious Yorkshire countryside around you. Nature events take place from February to October.

CARAVANS AND CAMPING

Humble Bee Farm includes 15 electric hook-up pitches and 12 non-electric pitches. Non-electric pitches are available at certain times of year, while motor-homes are permitted on site at selected times. The farm is close to takeaways, pubs, restaurants, visitor attractions and much more.

HUMBLE BEE ‘BIG CHIEF’ WIGWAMS

Humble Bee Farm’s cosy Big Chief Wigwams each sleep up to five people. The 12 Wigwams are arranged in three peaceful ‘villages’. You can enjoy evenings around the campfire under the stars, toast marshmallows and then look forward to a good night’s sleep. Humble Bee’s timber Wigwams are insulated and include a toaster, fridge, heater, microwave, mattresses, storage space and coffee table. There is parking next to your Wigwam and a picnic bench and gas BBQ are also included. You can personalize your Wigwam with affordable extras, such as a firepit, lanterns, bunting, fairy lights, bedding and much more.

The famous Glamping package is very popular, where a Wigwam is made into beautiful haven of peace and quiet with everything from buntings to bubbly. This ultimate luxury in camping is fantastic for a special occasion.

LUXURY HOLIDAY COTTAGES

Humble Bee farm’s luxury holiday cottages are Four Star Gold, all are beautifully decorated and have log burning stoves, fully equipped kitchens and en-suite bedrooms, along with TVs, wifi, iPod docks and patio furniture. Merry Dale and Swallow’s Nest cottages each have their own outdoor hot tub with a thatched gazebo. Humble Bee Cottage is a two-storey converted granary with private patio and is ideal for families and couples alike.
