Serenity Camping

Situated in the village of Hinderwell, Serenity Camping offers guests a nice break from the trials of modern life with their calm and relaxing park.

The park has been named Serenity for the peace and tranquillity that it affords its guests.

The park is situated on the A174 approximately 8 miles north of Whitby. It is located in the village of Hinderwell and set within the North Yorkshire Moor National Park.

Serenity Camping is a predominately adult site, although they welcome children upon request.

The park is in the centre of the village and is conveniently placed for all of the local facilities.

Hinderwell has 2 local pubs, a fish and chip shop, post office, butchers, chemist and a convenience store.

The entire site extends 5 acres in total and is hidden away from the main road.

Serenity Camping is south facing. They offer 20 pitches with electrical hook-ups. They recently renovated their toilet block and laundry facilities. These facilities are centrally located with facilities for campers to wash crockery and dry clothing.

GLAMPING

Serenity Camping have two luxurious Glamping Bell Tents, a quaint Shepherd’s Hut and he charming ‘Potting Shed’ available to hire for anything from a 2 night stay to a longer holiday.  All accommodate 2 people comfortably, have outside sitting areas and are pet friendly. Equipment is provided for basic self-catering with showers being taken in the communal washroom facility. Little extras like bed linen with towels and luxury baskets of local breakfast produce can be provided on request to make your stay even more special.

OUT AND ABOUT

Just a short stroll from the site is Runswick Bay with its sheltered sandy beaches.

Within easy walking distance of the site is the lovely village of Stathes with its historic links with Captain Cook.

In between these two villages is Port Mulgrave.

Within a mile of Serenity Camping is the Cleveland Way with its bracing cliff top walks.
