Balgair Castle Holiday Park is located in a peaceful, rural setting. It is set in between the Campsie and Fintry hills, near the historic town of Stirling and the picturesque Trossachs and only a half an hour's drive to Loch Lomond.

The local area has plenty to see and do. Balgair Castle Holiday Park is set on the banks of the Endrick which is a salmon river at the foot of the Fells. All around the park there are excellent walks and cycle trails. Guests can go golfing nearby at Balfron, Lennoxtown, Aberfoyle and Gleneagles.

The village of Fintry is just a short walk away from the park and it features 2 cosy pubs and a sports centre with indoor bowling and squash. Also nearby is the Culcreuch Castle Hotel. Just a few miles away is the historic village of Kippen and guests can explore a wide range of visitor attractions nearby such as Glengoyne Distillery, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, Blair Drummond Safari Park and the Falkirk Wheel to the shops, museums theatres and restaurants in the nearby cities.
