OUT AND ABOUT

Opposite the park is the excellent restaurant the Three Crowns, and nearby are some local village shops.

Alderbury Caravan  Park is a great base for exploring this lovely part of the country and across the road from the site entrance is the local bus service which will take you to Salisbury or Southampton.

A few miles away you can visit the New Forest with its many attractions. Another short drive away is Stonehenge.

7 miles away is Paultons Park, a family theme park that is also home to the very popular Peppa Pig Land so there is something the whole family can enjoy.

Also close by is Beaulieu Car Museum - one of the leading tourist attractions in the area.

Salisbury is well worth a visit with its medieval cathedral, one of the finest in Britain. Here you can discover the world's finest original Magna Carta, Europe's oldest working clock and over 750 years of history.

Also worth a visit are Broadlands and Wilton House and the South Coast and Bournemouth are also within easy reach.

DIRECTIONS:

FROM SALISBURY... Take A36 towards Southampton, once on dual carriageway take first junction signposted Alderbury / Whaddon, cross over A36, follow road round to the left.

FROM SOUTHAMPTON M27..... Junction 2 take A36 to Salisbury. Take the Alderbury/Whaddon slip road just before the the dual carriageway the park is on the right just through the

30mph sign.
