Mount View Caravan Park has been carefully designed so that every holiday home pitch enjoys lovely views of the surrounding hills and Clyde Valley. Every pitch is fully-serviced and includes a piped television signal that provides excellent reception.

The park is perfectly situated for cycling and walking. The countryside that surrounds the park is unspoilt and is filled with an abundance of bird and wildlife for watching.

Guests can go fishing on the River Clyde. There are also some fishing lakes in nearby Moffat and Biggar. Guests will find a golf course nearby at Leadhills.

Mount View Caravan Park is just a 5 minute walk from the quaint village of Abington. Abington is set on the Clyde Valley tourist route and features a local shop that will cater for most of your holiday needs. They also have a pub for special occasions or enjoying a quiet drink.

CAMPING AND TOURING

All of the site’s touring pitches are hard standing, level and spacious. The pitches are suitable for motor homes and trailers tents as well as touring caravans. Every pitch features electric and aerial hook-up.

Each of the pitches is surrounded by generous grassy areas with trees breaking up the space so that guests can see views of the Clyde Valley and the surrounding hills. The site has 2 grass sections that are designated for tents with the use of a picnic bench.

Centrally located in the park is the toilet block which is centrally heated and features a disabled and family room, a kitchen area, a laundry and a chemical emptying facility. Guests can use all of the showers and hair driers free of charge.
