The caravan park has over 50 acres to roam and enjoy. They have their own club that features dancing and entertainment. The site allows children. Facilities include an indoor, heated swimming pool, a well-stocked shop, great bar food, takeaway, a laundrette, amusements, pool table and a children's play area. Children will have hours of fun at the site's free Foxy Kids Club. The site recommends that you bring your car so that you can get the most out of your holiday at Widemouth Bay.

In less than 10 minutes by car you can reach the leading resort of Bude, which offers all the modern facilities that a tourist would require. A short drive can take you to the unspoiled, Cornish and Devon countryside, old market towns, quaint villages, old world inns, ancient churches, charming little coves and a choice of clean beaches. Further away you can enjoy Tintagel, which is a place of mystery and romance that conjures memories of King Arthur, the roundtable and Merlin. Activities that guests can enjoy in the area include golf, riding, tennis, fishing, boat trips, farm parks, wildlife parks, crafts centres and more. Guests might like to visit Port Isaac, which is where the TV series "Doc Martin" is filmed. A 50 minute drive will take visitors to the wide variety of attractions in Newquay and the famous Eden Project. They are both well worth a visit.

CARAVANS

Caravans in the John Fowler Holidays group are situated on broad, wonderfully-landscaped sites and are furnished to excellent standards. Each is fully carpeted, and the bathrooms feature a bath or a shower. The kitchens are fully equipped so that guests can be totally self-sufficient on their self-catering holiday.

Each caravan comes with colour TV, pillows, duvets and bed linen. They try to have your beds ready and made up for you upon your arrival.

TENTS & TOURING

If you come to the site with your tent or tourer, you can enjoy all the site's facilities for free. They give you flexibility by allowing you to move from park to park, staying just 1 night or as many nights as you wish.
