Home Farm Blue Anchor

Home Farm Blue Anchor is a 3 acre site, situated on a livestock farm on the seafront in Blue Anchor Bay and 100 yards from a sand and pebble beach. A lovely site for a quiet stay where your pets are always welcome.

Our 5 CS site is affiliated to The Camping and Caravanning Club and is open to members only. All non-members can join on arrival - please phone for details.

There are a good range of places to eat in Blue Anchor and the West Somerset Railway station is just 800 yards away.

Our car boot sale is held every Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays at 2.30pm April to October.

LOCAL AREA:

We are near historic Dunster village and castle. There are a number of tea rooms, inns, local craft shops and an Exmoor National Park Visitor Centre. There is a beach approx. half a mile south of the village centre and there is a West Somerset Steam Railway Station.

Exmoor is a walkers and horse riders delight, with miles of public footpaths, bridleways and byways traversing farmland, wild heather clad moor and dropping into hidden combes.

Exmoor National Park is a Somerset beauty extending over the county border into delightful Devon. It stretches from the Quantock Hills to 4 miles of golden sand on Woolacombe and Putsborough's blue flag beach. To the north Exmoor borders the Bristol Channel stretching round the north Devon coastline to Barnstaple and Bideford.

To the south Dulverton, South Molton and Tiverton, east over the Brendon hills ridge way, down to Wilveliscombe, almost into Taunton. Minehead is the main seaside resort, a clean affluent seaside town, overflowing with flowers and visitors during the Summer holidays.

From A39 3m before Minehead turn right in Carhampton signpost Blue Anchor. Site on seafront next to Smugglers Inn.
