Trentfield Farm
A small, professionally-run camping and caravan site, Trentfield Farm is a friendly place that services the needs of both national and international visitors.
Trentfield Farm is ideally situated for visiting the world famous area of Sherwood Forest, The Cathedral City of Lincoln, Beautiful Clumber and Rufford Parks and the surrounding areas. Guests can enjoy old fashioned camping and caravanning at Trentfield Farm with the site's all new amenities and modern conveniences.
The site is based in North Nottinghamshire and is set in-between historic Lincoln, Newark, Worksop and Gaisborough, on the side of the River Trent where guests can fish or watch water skiing. Trentfield Farm is set just inside the idyllic hamlet of Church Laneham which is an old estate village of the Bishop of York. There are historical documents that date the farm as much earlier than 1774, making it a site steeped in history.
Trentfield Farm's campsite is level and free draining. They pride themselves in keeping their site immaculately clean and tidy. There are 16 amp electric hook-ups on the site and each one has a water tap nearby. This means guests won't have to walk miles for their water.
The campsite has private river frontage with free coarse fishing available for guests. There are also 2 carp lakes that are just a 10 minute drive down the road that cost a small additional fee to use. Just a short drive from the site there are 3 great golf courses.
They feature a fully-updated, eco-friendly toilet block that has an AA 3 Star rating. They also feature a refurbished laundry. Their reception features books that guests can borrow. They provide every guest with a comprehensive information pack on arrival and a customer survey card.
The site's location is equally as good as their facilities. A short 5 minute walk will take you to the Ferry Boat Inn which is a real country pub that features great ales and food that comes at an excellent value for the money. It only takes a short 5 minute drive to get to the village store. Trentfield Farm is very rural and features miles of country roads to explore either by bike or by foot. All of the paths are well away from the major roads. Walkers and cyclists that have stayed at the site have been happy with the selection of quiet roads in and around the area.
Trentfield Farm welcomes everybody and everyone to their site. It doesn't matter if you just have a small tent or if you have a large caravan and an awning. The site has plenty of room for children to play without them disturbing other guests. They are not a large commercial site and their reputation is based on the great service that they give, which is why guests return to the site again and again. They are very careful siting their customers and they try to make sure that everyone has a good time at the site. They love when guests return to the site for a second time and when guests tell their friends about their excellent holiday.
