Berry Barton Caravan and Camping Park
Berry Barton Caravan and Camping Park lies on the edge of the pretty coastal village of Branscombe. They are a 300 acre dairy farm and a camping park.
Berry Barton Caravan and Camping Park is open from the 15th March- 15th November. The site is set in a sheltered position. It's land stretches along the cliffs to include over a mile of coastline. The farm’s dairy herd, Shetland ponies and other farm animals graze on the fields that surround the caravan park. Guests can watch the day to day activities of the family-run park during their stay. You can also just relax and take in the lovely rural setting.
The park has easy access from the lane. The campsite is situated above the farm. The caravans are located on two spacious mown fields. There is plenty of room to park next to your caravan.
Even during high season Berry Barton Caravan and Camping Park is quiet and maintains privacy for guests. Most of the caravans are privately owned. They have 10 modern berth caravans for hire. Each of the caravans features spectacular views across the site and the farmland.
The caravans come with mains electricity, water and heating. They have a well-equipped kitchen that has full-size cookers and electric refrigerators. The bathrooms are modern and feature showers and flush toilets. The living area has a comfortable seating area, a dining area and a TV. Each has two separate bedrooms, one with a full size double bed and one that has twin beds. There are additional double or twin beds in the seating in the lounge. The park provides plenty of blankets and pillows. They do not charge extra for the fire in the living area. They meter the electricity.
On the park there is a laundry room that has an automatic washing machine and a tumble dryer and a newly refurbished toilet and shower block.
You can reach one of the village’s two inns within walking distance of the site. It offers food and outside seating. At the farm there is a footpath that leads down to Littlecombe Shute, which is an unspoilt beach that has interesting rock pools during low tide.
