Situated in Stanah and adjacent to the Wyre Estuary Country Park, Kneps Farm Holiday Park is located only 7 miles away from the seaside resort of Blackpool.

The park is set in a peaceful rural area to ensure that guests enjoy a relaxing break, and because of their high standards the park has won awards.

The site welcomes touring caravans, motor homes and trailers tents as well as offering camping pods, holiday homes for hire and service for privately owned holiday homes.

They have an excellent range of facilities that includes an on-site shop, a clean and modern shower and toilet block, a children's play area, electrical, water and drainage hook-up points for tourers and parking spaces besides accommodations.

Nearby you can enjoy a range of outdoor activities that includes fishing, sailing and golf.

Because the park is located right on the edge of the Wyre Estuary Country Park, Kneps Farm is great for walkers. They welcome dogs on the park. The surrounding area features a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is a haven for wildlife so you might want to bring your binoculars. There are a variety of species of birds, plants and animals which includes the resident ducks and their ducklings.

The park is also near Blackpool. You can enjoy the countless attractions Blackpool offers including the Pleasure Beach and the Blackpool Tower and its famous circus and ballroom. You can also enjoy the famous illuminations which are switched on in autumn that stretch the length of the 5 mile promenade.

Nearby the towns of Thornton, Poulton, Garstang and Lytham offer excellent restaurants and places to eat for all tastes and budgets. The Fylde Coast has something for everyone and caters for all ages no matter what the weather.

The Wyre area's level train makes for an ideal place to enjoy a bike ride. You can bring your own bike or you can hire one of Kneps Farm's mountain bikes so that you can enjoy the freedom of the open track. You may also hire cycles from points along the coast with the Blackpool Cycle Hire Scheme. The nearest one is on the seafront at Cleveleys.

DIRECTIONS

M55 (J3) - A585 Fleetwood. Turn right at roundabout after River Wyre hotel onto B5412 (Little Thornton). Turn right at mini roundabout after school onto Stanah Road. Over next roundabout leading to river road.
