Woodclose Caravan Park

Located in the Lune Valley, Woodclose Caravan Park caters for static vans, tents and tourers on their unique holiday park. Woodclose Caravan Park is a well-established site that is very much a part of the local scene. The site spreads over 9 acres and is it located in a lovely location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Just a short distance from the park is the River Lune as well as the 3 ribbed medieval arches of Devil's Bridge. The area is linked to a legend in local tales. Within a half a mile of the site is the picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale which has a fine selection of award winning tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs.

Woodclose Caravan Park is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They offer a number of hard standing and grass pitches for touring caravans, motor homes and a secluded camping field for tents.

You can also choose to hire one of their self-catering Wigwams or one of their exclusive holiday homes or lodge developments. The park is set in 9 acres of land. The outlying fields create great habitats for a wide variety of animals, birds, flora and fauna.

TOURING AREA

Mainly hard standing with a few grass pitches, all with electric hook up. There are TV connection points on some pitches please ask when booking. Awnings can easily be erected on the hard standing pitches with good quality pitch irons

CAMPING FIELD

Small grassed area , home to 6 self catering wigwams and up to 4 tent pitches with electric hook up. It is well sheltered with trees and hedges.

WASHING FACILITIES

Two excellent heated washroom facilities with individual large wet room style showers. No charge is made for hot water. Hair dryers are available in the laundry room for a small charge.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

The laundry room is equipped with a coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer as well as two pot sinks, spin dryer, ironing board with coin operated iron, hair dryer and straighteners.
