Gwaun Vale Caravan Park

Located only 1½ miles from Fishguard in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Gwaun Vale Caravan Park is a family-owned park that is situated at the beginning of the lovely Cwm Gwaun. All of the pitches have electric hook-ups and are level. The pitches offer excellent views of the surrounding countryside.

The site features a children's play area, a laundry, 2 sinks to wash dishes in as well as toilets and free hot showers. Gwaun Vale has a small on-site shop that has basic supplies including gas cylinders. There is a separate dog exercise area for your dogs, who are welcome on the site.

Gwaun Vale Caravan Park is a great base for exploring the area. There is a supply of brochures and maps at the site that describe what is available in the surrounding area. If you feel up to a day trip, the location is very convenient for the Irish Ferry.

Just a 5 minutes' walk away from Gwaun Vale Caravan Park there is a small, friendly pub. There you can enjoy a bar meal in a countryside setting. You may also choose to enjoy an evening at the caravan park barbecuing while you watch the sun set behind the hills.

Those who enjoy going on walks and sitting and taking in the magnificent beauty of the surrounding countryside will love the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. You can watch cormorants as they dive into the sea or listen to the gulls as they follow the sailing boats. Other animals you can see include porpoises, dolphins and grey seals with their young pups.

The unit has a comfortable lounge, dining area and well equipped kitchen.

There are 2 bedrooms, one larger with 2 single beds, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside table.

The other has 2 x 2.5 feet beds, wardrobe and bedside table.

There is a toilet and shower. Bedding and towels are provided.
