Situated 7 miles from the historic city of Norwich, Swans Harbour Caravan and Camping Site is nestled in the upper reaches of the River Yare. They are set just 4 miles from the market town of Wymondham.

Swans Harbour Caravan and Camping Site allows guests to enjoy quiet country views as well as the modern conveniences of an updated and sensitively landscaped site that lies in a tranquil setting.

Opened in 1978 as a certified location by Julia and Geoff Morter, Swans Harbour Caravan and Camping Site has since blossomed into a fully-licensed site.

They have taken great care in the provision of the site's amenities. They have styled the toilet block, information centre and washing-up area to blend in with the surroundings. They have attractively tiled all of their floors. Each shower cubicle has been carefully designed with a separate dressing space so that you don't have to get wet again. They also feature hand dryers, mirrors and shaver points so that everyone's stay is a comfortable and pleasant experience.

The site allows dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times.

Situated next to the River Yare, Swans Harbour is a 4 acre, level and grassy site. A hard road gives easy access to the site's pitches which all feature electrical hook-ups. They have an ornamental pond on-site but no fishing is allowed in this pond. The site has drinking water taps, waste disposal points and a large play area for children's ball games.

Swans Harbour Caravan and Camping Site is perfectly placed as a base for touring the Norfolk countryside and coastline. It makes a great centre for visiting many historic sites, towns and villages including Norwich, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Walsingham, Wymondham and the Sandringham Estate.

They are open all year round and they have a heated toilet block in the winter for guests' convenience.

DIRECTIONS

If coming from the North on the A47:

Leave the Norwich Southern Bypass dual carriageway at the second exit signed B1108 Norwich/Watton. Take B1108 away from Norwich in the Watton direction. Just over 2 miles, turn off to the right at the cross-roads signed â??Marlingford' (road named Bow Hill). Follow the brown signs, bearing left at each junction, to find Swans Harbour on your right just before the River Yare bridge.

If coming from the A11:

Join the A47 Norwich Southern Bypass and head in Swaffham/Kings Lynn direction. Take the first exit onto the B1108 and follow the directions above.

If coming from Watton Direction:

On the B1108 at the village of of Barford turn left in front of the '??The Cock' Public House and beside the garage. After 500 yards take a right turn at the T-junction. Swans Harbour is approximately 1 mile on the left just over the River Yare Bridge.
