Acacia Farm

Acacia Farm is a unique rural 20 acre small holding. It ia set in open country side on the outskirts of the Somerset Hamlet village of Rooksbridge.

CAMPING

The caravan field is a 5 acre meadow, set well back from the road and has 5 generous hardstandings suitable for large caravans and RV's. There are hook ups and lawn areas which are suitable for use all year round. The camping/touring pitches have electric hook ups, grassy area and hard standing for cars.

Acacia Farm has a BBQ area with decking, picnic table and fire pits for you to use. For dog owners there is an 8 acre dog walk field adjacent to this site with plenty of space to exercise them.

Facilities include two private bathrooms each with toilet, sink and free showers situated near the main house which is about 100 yards from the campsite. There is also a small utility room with 2 large sinks, fridge freezer and tourist maps and information on the area. Free bike use.

Acacia Farm has a Ralley Field of 8 acre meadow with a beautiful view of Brent Knoll. There are hard standing and hook ups and water available for rallies or events.

WOOD CABIN HIRE

Delightful rustic "Glamping Getaway" for four Wood Cabin is available all year round. Whether you're after cosy romantic Autumn evenings by the fire or warm summer evenings enjoying a sundowner or Alfresco dining out on the covered veranda.

The open plan cabin is on full mains hot and cold water with Gas cooking. There are plenty of power points for the modern gadgets we sometimes can't do without.

Included in the kitchen is a Gas cooker with 4 rings oven and grill and ample work space, cupboards and integrated larder fridge freezer. Its also fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, saucepans and cooking utensils . The dining area has a table and four chairs. The heart of the space is a log burner with two comfy two-seater sofas which convert  to your beds at night.

The outside space has a covered decking area with seating looking out onto lawn and open space. A picnic table is available as well as fire pit and outside BBQ for your own outside experience

CARAVAN HIRE

Accacia Farm has a luxury fully equipped 6 berth Caravan sited on a large fully serviced pitch in the grounds of the campsite.

• Mystic and natural places of Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and the Mendip Hills.

• Family beach resorts of Weston-super-mare, Burnham on sea and Brean sands.

• Rooksbridge village pub and post office in walking distance.

• Take in the sights in a classic VW air cooled fully equipped van.
