Located in Dentdale, High Laning Camping and Caravan Park is a family-run park that is conveniently near the centre of Dent. The site is within easy walking distance of amenities, shops, pubs and places to eat. From the site there are great views of the surrounding hills. You can choose to sample the local beers that are brewed in the dale at Dent Brewery or you can visit a craft shop.

You can spend a relaxing holiday in the timeless, peaceful dale of Dentdale. It makes a great base for walking, cycling and touring. You can explore the area by car or use the famous Settle-Carlisle railway where the amazing steam train comes through the Dent station. The site is within easy reach of all of the Yorkshire Dales, the Eden Valley and a lot of the Lake District.

When you stay at High Laning you can enjoy their clean modern facilities which include electric hook-ups and park lighting. The site is secluded and level. They have long term pitches that are available for touring caravans that up to 18ft long. The long term pitches are available throughout the year. If you bring your own box and cable you can hook up to Sky TV.

High Laning is a family campsite but they can also accommodate groups by a prior arrangement. The park has become popular for Duke of Edibough Awards and School Groups because of the secluded areas that they have available.

They feature male and female toilet blocks that have mains water, private toilets, wash basins, showers and shaving points. They have a disabled unit that has a toilet, wash basin and shower. Their laundry facilities include washing machines, tumble dryers and a drying cupboard. They also feature a dish washing sink and a refreshment vending machine area.

DIRECTIONS

From the M6 Motorway ~ Leave at Junction 37, signposted Sedbergh A684. Dent is a further 5 miles from Sedbergh

From West Yorkshire ~ Leave the A65 at Kirkby Lonsdale, heading for Sedbergh. At Barbon village look for the signs to Dent

If travelling on the A1 ~ Exit at Northallerton junction, heading west on the A684 towards Leyburn and Hawes. At Hawes take the B6255 towards Ingleton, looking out for the turning to Dent.

By train ~ Access by rail is either from Oxenholme on the main West Coast line - 30 minutes away, or from Dent Station on the Leeds-Settle-Carlisle line which is just 4 miles away.

Please Note: If using Sat Nav to travel to Dent, we would advise you not to take the shortest route over Kingsdale when travelling with large Caravans and Motorhomes or to take great care.
