Penhalvean Pottery Camping & Caravan Site

Located in a hamlet just outside of Redruth, Penhalvean Pottery is a small, friendly and relaxed campsite that is surrounded by magnificent Cornish countryside.

The site occupies roughly 4 acres on a gentle slope. They have left the site as natural as possible, only mowing the grass.

Penhalvean Pottery is a non-commercial campsite. They ask that you respect their no-noise policy after 11 pm.

Dogs are allowed but they must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

The site caters to tents, caravans and motor homes.

Facilities include separate men and women's shower blocks, WCs and hand basins. You can use these free of charge. They also feature a small kitchen area with a washing machine, hot running water, washing up facilities, microwave, kettle, refrigerator and freezer. In the field there are two fresh spring water stand pipes and a chemical toilet waste disposal point. They offer a small number of electric hook-ups, which cost an additional, small fee per night.

They do not have a Wi-Fi connection, but dongles do work.

The site is just 15 minutes away from a beach.

Penhalvean Pottery is a child friendly site.

Nearby you will find stables and places to fish.

The village of Stithians is nearby and offers an excellent, local pub that serves food at lunchtimes and evenings. They also have a spar shop, petrol station and tea room.

Penhalvean Pottery Camping and Caravan Site is equally distant between the North and South coast, which makes it a great base for exploring the entirety of Cornwall.
