Green Pastures Farm

Green Pastures Farm is family-runĀ and is located on the outskirts of the New Forest. There is plenty of room for children to play in full view of the caravans and tents, making Green Pastures Farm ideal for families. The site is very peaceful though so that you are able to unwind after a busy week of working.

Green Pastures Farm's top priority is cleanliness. The site features a modern toilet block with free hot showers as well as disabled shower and toilet facilities. Additional facilities include a washing machine, dryer, washing-up area, payphone, small shop, calor gas and camping gaz. The site allows well-controlled dogs and offers daytime kennels.

The local area has many places to visit and things to see and do. One attraction is the New Forest which is a great place to explore. It features a wide variety of landscapes and wildlife. When there watch out for ponies and cows wandering on the roads.

Only a half an hour's drive away from Green Pastures Farm are the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester. Just beyond that is Stonehenge. A 4 mile drive will take you to the old market town of Romsey with its grand Norman Abbey and the Broadlands which was the family home of the late Lord Louis Mountbatten.

Those who love to shop will surely enjoy the new West Quay development in Southampton. Southampton and Portsmouth have a wealth of things for those who are interested in sea and maritime history. The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is another popular destination. Only a mile away from the site is the theme park Paultons. This is a must see for holiday-makers, children in particular will love it. You may also choose to take a day trip to the Isle of Wight.

DIRECTIONS

From M27 junction 2 follow signs for Salisbury until our own brown tourist signs are seen at the big "Ower" roundabout. Whitemoor Lane is a turning off A3090 (formerly A31) between Romsey and Cadnam.
