Crofthead Holiday Park

Surrounded by beautiful rural Ayrshire, Crofthead Holiday Park is a four star park that offers a peaceful and relaxing stay. Crofthead is located a convenient two miles from Ayr town centre.

The owners, the McCormack Family, strive to maintain a site that upholds ‘family values’ and a ‘traditional caravanning’ atmosphere. The park has been upgraded significantly since the family bought it in 2001 and now offers today’s luxuries like Wifi, modern play equipment and a new shop.

We also have an extensive nature walk with stunning views in all directions. We welcome tourers, motorhomes and tents as well as having superb, Thistle Awarded hire vans and luxury lodges with hot tubs. Owning your own holiday home is an affordable luxury at Crofthead. The park holds a 12 month holiday license.

LUXURY LODGES FOR HIRE

Situated on the new Carrick View Development, looking across to the Carrick Hills, the new lodges have spacious, enclosed decks and fantastic hot tubs. A perfect setting to relax, unwind and take in the beautiful views.

Perfect for couples or families. NO DOGS allowed in the lodges.

3, 4 or 7 day breaks available. Lodges sleep up to 4 people.

The Carrick View luxury lodges now have wifi.

Timetables, deadlines and the bustle of everyday routines can be forgotten as you unwind in the luxury of your Thistle Awarded holiday home.

OUT AND ABOUT

Ayrshire is located in the South West of Scotland and as well as being an established destination for short breaks, golf, activities and history it also remains well located for trips to both Glasgow and Edinburgh and indeed as a gateway to the West Highlands of Scotland through the Island of Arran.

Ayrshire has plenty to offer the visitor, from its links with the Scottish Bard, Robert Burns, through to world famous golf and some of the best sailing waters in the United Kingdom. Horse riding, hunting, shooting and fishing can all be arranged for guests in conjunction with nearby estates and increasingly outdoor activities and extreme sports are becoming more available.

Nearby there are several excellent golf courses and a river that is great for fishing. There is also a wonderful beach to relax on close by.

Castles and historic trails abound with many famous sites of interest and ruins to be explored and a host of attractions associated with Burns.
