The Glade Park

Situated in the lovely countryside of the Lunesdale Valley, The Glade Park is in a beautifully landscaped location and is close to the peaceful village of Capernwray, only a few miles from Carnforth.

It is a private family-run site that offers full services to every holiday home pitch. The Glade Park is graded 4 ticks under the British Graded Holiday Park scheme. The site is also North West Tourist Board approved and Caravan Club listed.

Their facilities are kept immaculately clean. They have a centrally heated modern toilet block and a children's play area.

TOURING CARAVANS AND MOTORHOMES

The Glade Park's touring caravan and motor home pitches are sited to blend harmoniously into a lovely landscaped setting separate from the luxury holiday lodges.

They keep the facilities spotlessly clean, including their centrally heated modern toilet block that features hot and cold water to showers and wash basins. They have shaver points provided and there is a chemical toilet disposal point.

The Glade Park has a public telephone and features electric hook-ups throughout. They have carefully sited the children's play area for safety and enjoyment.

The site is North West Tourist Board approved and Caravan Club listed. It is very popular for season bookings so you must book in advance to secure your place.

HOLIDAY LODGES

The Glade Park's holiday lodges are sited to blend harmoniously into the pretty landscaped setting and are tastefully arranged around a central landscaped area that is separate from the tourer pitches.

Each of the lodges is fitted to exceptional standards. Not only in such necessities as the kitchen equipment and the bathroom fixtures but in the whole way the interiors are planned, colour schemed and co-ordinated.

Some of the lodges feature double glazed windows and central heating to ensure that guests can make the most of their holiday homes no matter what the season.

DIRECTIONS

From M6 exit at junction 35 follow the B6254 towards Kirkby Lonsdale. Follow the road through Over Kellet, go past the Redwell Inn and within half a mile take the left turn to Capernwray.

The Glades Country Park is within one mile on the left hand side to the rear of Capernwray House. You may see Llamas in the field by the entrance.
