Hillend Camping & Caravan Park

Located on the Gower peninsula, Hillend Camping & Caravan Park is within Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This extends 20km westwards from the City of Swansea.

Gower peninsula has a landscape of cosy villages, farm, castle ruins and common land. This is bounded by 40km of amazing coastline and famous beaches, making the area a pleasure to visit.

Rhossili Bay, one of the area's most breathtaking beaches, is situated on the western edge of the peninsula. In the south you can see Worm's Head and to the north there is the tidal islet of Burry Holmes. The 3 mile sweep of golden sands is a constant reminder of the beauty and splendour of Gower.

Hillend Camping & Caravan Park features 4 fields that cover a total of 14 acres of level meadows. They can accommodate up to 300 tents and motor homes. Families and couples can enjoy 2 of the fields, which are reserved for them only. The entire site is within 200m of the magnificent Rhossili Bay.

The site is not a â??families only' site but is careful about whom they let onto the park. Children that are well behaved are welcome but those under 18 are usually only accepted with parental supervision. Groups of more than 10 people must have a prior arrangement. These rules help the site to maintain its vibrant feel.

Hillend Camping & Caravan Park has 250 caravans and lodges spread over 26 acres of sand dunes and burrows. Caravans and lodges can either be set among the sand dunes or nestled beneath the downs. Most of the caravans and lodges enjoy spectacular views of the beach and beyond to the coastline of Carmarthen Bay.

Entry level prices for traditional caravans start at around £30k and generally range up to £50k.

The lodges, which are built to residential standards and specifications are much larger twin units. These can range in price generally from £130 - £175k

Annual ground rent at 2014 levels is £3,400.
