Located just 1 mile from the lovely World Heritage Coastline at Budleigh Salterton, Pooh Cottage Holiday Park offers guests miles of glorious beaches and scenery. This holiday park is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and features sea, coastal and countryside views.
Pooh Cottage Holiday Park is mostly level and is on well-drained soil, which makes it reliable in any type of weather. They have their own outdoor heated swimming pool that is open from Whitsun until the middle of September. They have great toilet and shower facilities, a washing up area for campers and a wonderful play area for children. The site allows well-behaved pets.
The park has plenty of open space for the playing of ball games. They are very close to the Buzzard Cycle Path, and they have access to the local Woodbury Common just 100 yards away from the site. Both nature lovers and bird watchers will get a lot out of their stay.
There are many great beaches in the local area, including Pebble at Budleigh Salterton, which is 1 mile away, and Sandy at Exmouth, which is 4 miles away.
Their touring pitches are spacious and mainly level. All of them feature electric hook-up points.
They do have non-electric pitches available for tourers and tents. They usually reserve their hard standings for seasonal pitches.
Pooh Cottage Holiday Park offers 4 and 6-berth caravan holiday homes for hire.
The park welcomes Rallies all year round. There is a dedicated area with all the services needed for a successful and enjoyable, hassle free time. There are also electrical hook-ups available throughout the area.
HIRE A BIKE!
This area is ideal for bike riding and you can hire your bike at Pooh Cottage. There is a lovely route ideal for families which takes you along the old Railway line to Exmouth where you can pick up The Exe Trail Cycle Path and Walkway. This follows the Exe Estuary from Exmouth towards Exeter boasting some of the most fantastic views of the Estuary & countryside with picturesque villages with great pubs, shops and cafes. The route itself is very well sign posted which makes for a more enjoyable ride. A fantastic ride for all ages!
DIRECTIONS
To find us leave the M5 at Junction 30. Head for Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Just before Budleigh Salterton turn left into Knowle Village on the B3178. Drive thru the village, past the pub and hall, on top of the hill slow down and turn left into Bear Lane. Go up the lane 100 yds, over the old railway bridge and turn left into the Park.
