Carlton Park is set within historic parkland and offers guests the peace and beauty of traditional rolling Suffolk countryside. Just a half a mile away in the market town of Saxmundham there is a wide range of amenities.

They have over 6 acres set aside for camping and caravans. They have a total of 75 pitches which are widely spaced apart in the parkland setting.

For the sports minded there are Tennis Courts available to hire and 2 Boules Pistes which can be used free of charge, you will need your own equipment though.

Carlton Park welcomes tents as well as touring caravans, camper vans and motor homes. They also allow touring caravans to stay on the site for the entire season.

Just a half a mile away from the site is the centre of Saxmundham. It has very well lit streets as well as a good range of pubs, restaurants, takeaway shops and a national supermarket.

Carlton Park is situated in the centre of East Suffolk, midway between Ipswich and Lowestoft. They are just a few miles inland from the Suffolk Heritage and the seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.

There is an extensive network of footpaths that lead from Carlton Park. You can also enjoy cycling on quiet country lanes through delightful rolling countryside.

You can make use of the regular trains from Saxmundham to Ipswich and to Lowestoft with onward connections to London, Norwich and East Anglia.

Once at Saxmundham you can set off in any direction to explore rural Suffolk, the Suffolk Heritage Coast or even the wonderful Norfolk Broads.

There are trains that run to and from London. You can use connections at Ipswich and Lowestoft to explore the entirety of East Anglia by train.

The local area has plenty of interesting places to visit as well. The sea can reached in just 5 miles from the site or you can use the indoor pool and leisure centre at Leiston which is just 4 miles away.
