Virginia Lake Caravan Park

Virginia Lake Caravan Park is set in glorious fenland and is open all year round including Christmas and New Year. There is both hard standing and grass pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes. They can accommodate all sizes of units including the largest RVs. They also offer long term pitches and they welcome caravan rallies. Every pitch on the park has electric hook-ups points and there are plenty of water points scattered around the park.

Virginia Lake Caravan Park allows pets and features a designated dog walk that takes you around the perimeter of the entire park and lake along a raised, secluded embankment. In this area you can appreciate the peace and beauty of the park's fenland landscape and see some magnificent open views. The site respects dog owners that are responsible and keep them pets on a lead and keep the park clean of fouling for other guests.

The park is well lit with low level lighting throughout. The park is monitored by CCTV and the gates are secured at night. They give late arrivals their own hook-up points and toilet facilities within the car park area.

Virginia Lake Caravan Park features new purposely-built amenity blocks for guests that are comprised of fully-heated showers and toilet facilities which are complete with wash basins, hand dryers and hair dryers. They also have a disabled and family shower room available.

There is a chemical disposal point, dish washing, a laundry room and baby changing facilities, all of which are accessible to disabled visitors. They also have a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryers, clothes airers, washing lines, a service iron and a board.

Virginia Lake Caravan Park have their own 2 acre fishing lake that is stocked with roach, rudd, bream, barbell, perch, chub, tench and carp up to 30 pounds and more. There are 31 pegs including 2 disabled areas.

There is a shop centrally located on the site that sells both general goods and fishing goods.

Virginia Lake Caravan Park has a fully-licensed clubhouse that has a large and varied menu of quality bar meals that are served within a friendly family atmosphere. The clubhouse is open all year round from 6 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It features pool tables, fruit machines, a dart board and large screen TVs. Most Saturday nights there is Bingo and sometimes also on Fridays evenings for a short while if it is requested by popular demand. The clubhouse is open nearly every night on bank holiday dates and during peak times.

? Peterborough: Shopping, The Cathederal and Ice Skating rink. March & Downham Market are both lovely old fashioned Market towns with lots to offer.

DIRECTIONS:

We are located halfway between Wisbech and King's Lynn. To find us, leave the A47 dual-carriageway that runs between the two towns at the junction sign-posted with the brown and white tourist board signs. Follow these signs for 3 miles heading towards Marshland St James, and you will come to a Post Office on a bend. Keep on for another couple of hundred yards into Marshland St James and on the left hand side you will find the entrance to Virginia Lake. Enter the park, follow the roadway and you will find our Reception.
