Woodland Springs Touring Park
Situated within the small hamlet of Venton within the lovely Dartmoor National Park, Woodland Springs Touring Park makes a great base for touring Devon, Cornwall and the South West. They are just 1½ miles from the A30 with easy access. You can reach the cathedral city of Exeter from the site in just 18 miles.
Woodland Springs Touring Park is set in the natural surroundings of countryside, woodlands and farmland and caters for caravans, motor homes and tents.They offer a variety of different pitches from all grass to all hard standing and now have fully serviced pitches available. They welcome dogs to the site and provide an exercise field for them.
The park is open all year round.
This quiet and peaceful park is an 18 and older only site. Guests can enjoy numerous walks from the site. Nearby guests will find fishing, golf, cycle hire, horse riding, swimming, steam railways and even more activities. You can also easily explore Dartmoor and the Teign Valley.
Woodland Springs Touring Park has worked to preserve the natural environment of their park in order to encourage wildlife to roam their site. Guests can see deer, foxes, rabbits and a number of species of birds. Bird watchers will find the site ideal. There are also many kinds of insects and small mammals on the site. The park goes through many changes over the seasons. Guests will be treated to a wide variety of flora and fauna. They are documented in the Wealth of Wildlife report that is available for guests to read from the site's Information Point.
Those who enjoy reading, painting and drawing will find Woodland Springs Touring Park ideal. It's also good for simply hiding away and relaxing.
Woodland Springs Touring Park has night time security that is maintained by the gate being locked at 11:00pm and reopened at 7:30am. The owners Chris and Jan live on the site. They will be available if you have any questions, problems or if you need help with your awning during your stay. They have both been caravanning for many years and have a great idea of what it takes to make an excellent holiday park.
