Giants Head Caravan and Camping Park is set near the ancient village of Cerne Abbas. They are high above the steep hillside where the 180 foot high figure of the Cerne man is carved into the hillside.

Cerne Abbas is surrounded by the gentle hills that are typical of the pretty West Dorset countryside. They are situated in the valley cut by the River Cerne. Guests will find an extensive range of public footpaths and bridleways that radiate from the village. There are walks to suit every taste.

Giants Head Caravan and Camping Park has a lot of character. They emphasise a very natural look with fine mature trees, mown grass and thick hedgerows.

The park caters to touring caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and tents. Their pitches are grassy from level to gently sloping. The pitches are either in shade, open with lovely views or secluded.

HOW TO FIND US

From Dorchester: Into the town avoiding the by-pass, at the Top O'Town roundabout take the Sherborne road. After 500 yards take the right fork at the BP (Loder's Garage). Site is signposted from there.

From Sherborne: Take the left hand fork at Middlemarsh off the A352. The road is signposted "Dorchester - alternative route" The park is signposted from there.

From Cerne Abbas Village: Take the road into Buckland Newton.
