Llandow Caravan Park  is situated just 3 miles from the stunning Heritage Coast in the Vale of Glamorgan, near Cardiff, South Wales, half way between the quaint market town of Cowbridge and the historic town of Llantwit Major.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s coastline really is the UK’s best kept secret and there are local beaches at Llantwit Major, Nash Point, Monknash and Southerndown.

Llandow is a family run and family orientated park with a high standard of facilities and cleanliness.offering visitors a peaceful and relaxing place to stay while enjoying the beautiful and exhilarating surroundings.

The park offers great customer service and a high service of facilities and cleanliness and there is free Wi-Fi available. The well stocked on-site shop is open from 9 until late 7 days a week selling locally produced meat, milk, eggs, ice cream, magazines, weekend newspapers, sweets, toys, camping supplies and much more!

There is a designated play area fenced off and away from the main caravan park, where children can play safely under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Llandow Caravan Park is now split into 2 parks. Both are very close together and visitors can use the facilities on either park during their stay.

The park's location makes it a perfect centre for exploring South Wales and its valleys. Cardiff city centre is only 20 minutes away and Swansea is only 30 minutes away. The site still enjoys the peace and quiet of a rural site but affords accessibility to tourist locations.

Visitors flock to Cowbridge at all times of year to enjoy its quiet appeal. Lying in the heart of the vale and known as the ‘Bond Street’ of South Wales, it is an attractive place to visit and a fantastic place to shop. The town boasts a superb range of bistros, restaurants, pubs and wine bars, catering for all tastes and each with their own individual character and style.

Llantwit retains its air of antiquity with its maze of little lanes and old-world shops, narrow streets, quaint stone cottages and old inns. About a mile from the town centre is a small beach – a mix of pebbles, rock pools and sand, with a cliff top scenery.

The Vale of Glamorgan is a fantastic place to go walking. Along the Vale’s rugged Glamorgan Heritage Coast you can discover the last manned lighthouse in Wales (automated as recently as 1998). Inland, walk in the footsteps of one of the Vale’s most colourful characters on the Iolo Morganwg Heritage Walk. If you dare – try the Haunted Field walk where you’ll come across Neolothic Tinkinswood Burial Chamber  - it’s capstone is one of the largest in Europe.

The sand dunes in Merthyr Mawr are great fun, especially for young children. Why not take a toboggan and spend the day sliding down the huge sand hills. Guaranteed to wear the kids (and adults) out!

DIRECTIONS: From the M4 take the J33 exit onto the A4242. Take the 2nd exit (Culverhouse) to the A48. Follow the road to Cowbridge. Bypass Cowbridge and exit onto the B4268 to Llantwit Major. Look for the brown tourist directional signs.
