High Bank Farm

Located in the semi-rural village of Hardhorn, High Bank Farm is a small family-run complex that offers a variety of accommodation. They have recently converted barns into Luxury Holiday Cottages that have been rated 4 Stars by the English tourism council. They also have a camping and caravanning site.

High Bank Farm is located close to the ancient market town of Poulton le Fylde.

The site's complex is located on a former working farm and affords stunning views of the Trough of Bowland as a back drop.

You can enjoy the town or you can retreat in relaxation in your peaceful holiday home.

The campsite is a listed site and is located within a fenced grassed field. It includes electric points, toilet and shower facilities.

High Bank Farm also offers self-catering apartments for rent throughout the year including one with Level 1 mobility. These apartments have been given 4 Stars by the National Tourist Board.

From nature walks along the river bank and Wyre estuary to the charming nearby market towns of Poulton-le-Fylde and Garstang. Grab some fish & chips and head for the promenades of Cleveleys, Knott-end-on-sea, and Lytham St Annes.

Take in the fresh air and enjoy miles of wide open beaches, wild sea birds and the great open seascape, all with pretty views across the Irish sea and the peaks and mountains of the distant Lake District.

Golfers can enjoy several 18 hole courses including Lancaster and Royal Lytham which hosts the World Open Championship every few years.

A little further afield the scenery takes a dramatic uprising where you can explore the ancient and massive forest of Bowland, with its scented pines, colourful heathers and miles of fells and accompanying scrub land. It's a fantastic place to enjoy nature walks, picnics, mountain biking and wildlife spotting. The highlight is a drive or walk to the 'Trough of Bowland' where on a clear day the sweeping panorama is guaranteed to take your breath away.

DIRECTIONS:

Leave the M55 at Junction 3, turn right to Fleetwood (A585). After 2 miles, turn left to Singleton (B5269).

At the end of the road, turn right into Singleton Village. At mini-roundabout turn left to Blackpool (B5266), approximately 1 mile on go under the railway bridge (10ft) then around two bends.

Follow this road into the 30mph zone, just past the woods on the right before the farmhouse is the entrance to the Campsite and farmhouse. Continue on past the farmhouse to the next entrance for the cottages.
