Wareham Forest Tourist Park
Set in 43 acres of great woodlands with open grassy spaces, Wareham Forest Tourist Park is a family-run park that has direct access to 14 sq miles of the Wareham Forest.
Wareham Forest Tourist Park has been developed and maintained to extremely high standards by the resident proprietors Tony and Sarah Birch. They place a high emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.
The park makes an ideal base for exploring the attractions of Dorset. You can see castles, coves, quaint villages and wonderful countryside as well as miles of clean sandy beaches. Just a short drive away from the site you can reach Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Swanage and the Purbeck Hills.
Wareham Forest Tourist Park is open all year round. Some services are restricted in either mid or low season. They have a total of 200 tourer pitches with electric hook-up. Out of these 150 of the pitches are hard standing. They have 8 super pitches that come with individual water tap and drainage, TV aerial hook-up, electric hook-up and night light. The reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during high season. The park gates are secured from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. There is a designated late arrival area on the forecourt.
The site's touring pitches which are scattered throughout their 43 acre woodland site give guests the opportunity to cohabit with wildlife, woodland and heathland habits that can be found within the park and the surrounding forest.
Wareham Forest Tourist Park's touring pitches are hard standing and grass and offer electric hook-up. They are conveniently located near the free toilet and shower facilities. The site's selection of luxury super pitches each have their own water tap and waste water point, drain, TV aerial point and refuge collection point.
They offer laundry rooms, dish washing facilities, Calor gas exchange services and Wi-Fi internet access to their guests.
The owners pride themselves on their touring pitches and they regularly take steps to improve them to ensure that they remain of the highest quality.
You will find a variety of things to do in and around the park. Many customers have to come back a second time because they haven't had enough time to visit all of the attractions in one stay.
