Waterrow Touring Park

Waterrow Touring Park is Exclusively for Adults, a holiday destination providing peace and tranquillity amongst attractive landscaped surroundings within the valley of the River Tone.

There are 46 spacious pitches, all with views, all hardstanding all-weather pitches, five of which are fully serviced.

Waterrow Touring Park has won the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation for five years running and gained the 2003 Calor Gas Most Improved Park in England Award. We are rated five stars with the Tourist Board and five pennants with the AA.

We also have touring van hire where you can stay at Waterrow Touring Park in one of our hire fleet, ideal for friends staying with you or for those wishing to try out caravanning.

We are Open All Year Round and each of the four seasons has its own unique charm and attraction.

We are a member of the Tranquil Touring Parks, a group of independent parks providing a relaxed environment exclusively for adults. Also a member of the Best of British group of five-star independently owned parks.

Within half an hour's drive of Waterrow you can reach Dulverton, the gateway to Exmoor National Park opening up 265 square miles of unspoilt heathland, valleys and woodland. Popular places to visit are Tarr Steps, Dunkery Beacon, Lynton and Lynmouth and the Doone Valley.

Other towns worth a visit are Taunton - County town for Somerset, Tiverton, Dunster, Dulverton and Minehead.

If you enjoy walking there are many lovely walks around Waterrow Touring Park and we are on the route of the West Deane Way. If you would like to bring your bikes, you need to be quite fit as this is a hilly area! Exmoor is beautiful walking country and you can also walk round Clatworthy Reservoir (no dogs allowed) or Wimbleball Lake. The Somerset Levels are approximately 30 minutes drive, wonderful for walking, cycling and birdwatching.

You can fish in the River Tone on the Park, but you need to be quite good! You can also fly fish at Exebridge, Clatworthy Reservoir or Wimbleball Lake.

There are also coarse fishing venues close by in Waterrow and at Shillingford, Oakford and Langford Lakes - all within ten minutes drive.
