The fun begins here at  Harlyn Sands Holiday Park!

Situated on the North Cornish Coastline, in between Newquay and Padstow, Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is set on Trevose Head. Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is just a few minutes’ walk from Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay and Mother Ivy’s Bay. Each beach is safe and clean, and provides a mixture of surfing, snorkelling and bathing.

Lifeguards of the RNLI watch over Harlyn Bay and Constantine Bay from May until September. All beaches in the area accept dogs.

The park is surrounded by miles of great coastline walks and is just a short drive from Wadebridge, St. Austell and Truro. Just 45 minutes away is the great Eden Project. Twenty-five minutes away is the bustling surfing resort of Newquay. In 5 minutes, you can reach the quaint fishing village of Padstow.

Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is a family-owned park that is operated for families. They cater to younger children, and they know that if the kids are happy, then the parents are happy. They have a teenage curfew and a restriction on the number of teenagers per booking. This creates a safe haven for you and your family.

CAMPING AND TOURING

The park has 80 level, grass pitches on their main park. They feature a unisex shower block, male and female toilet blocks, a laundry block and a washing up area. It costs 20 pence for every 4 minutes in their showers. They do this to try to stop people from using the showers for long periods of time, which ensures everyone is given the chance to have a nice shower.

They also open up their Beach Field during school summer holidays, which is a grass field that overlooks Harlyn Bay. It features some of the best views from any camping field in Cornwall. They are away from the noise and distractions of the main park and clubhouse. It makes a great place for a family holiday.

The Beach Field has pitches both with and without electric hook-up points. It does not have any toilets, showers or laundry facilities, but you can use the main park facilities, which are just a 5 minute walk away.

HOLIDAY HOME HIRE

They offer luxurious holiday homes for hire. They come in a range of sizes so that they can accommodate any family.

The park prides itself on the cleanliness of its caravans. They believe that a holiday can be made or broken as soon as the front door of the caravan is opened. Guests must bring their own duvet, covers, bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels.

The site does not allow dogs in any of their new holiday homes, or in homes that have not previously allowed dogs.

All the caravans are kept NO SMOKING because of recent legislation changes.

DIRECTIONS:

From Plymouth: Take the A38 through Liskeard to Bodmin. Then take the A389 to Wadebridge then continue to Padstow. Before reaching Padstow, turn off for St Merryn and follow signs for Harlyn Sands.

From Exeter: Take the A30 to Bodmin. Then take the A389 to Wadebridge then continue to Padstow. Before reaching Padstow, turn off for St Merryn and follow signs for Harlyn Sands.

If towing a caravan when you reach St Merryn, please head for Constantine, then turn off for Trevose Golf Course. Come through the golf course and turn left for Harlyn Sands.
