Atlantic Coast Caravan Park

Atlantic Coast Caravan Park is but a stone skim away from lovely beaches; the park is surrounded with sand dunes and is the perfect place to go on a once in a life time holiday.

The site has been noted as a site of special scientific interest. The sand dunes are simply alight with wildlife. It's like one huge playground with no boundaries. Kids will love to go on holiday there.

One of the other popular tourist attractions of the Atlantic Coast Caravan Park is the magnificent Gwithian Beach which is also just a short walk away. There is a lighthouse that was made famous by Virginia Woolf, and it allows visitors to get a spectacular view of the beaches within the bay.

If you are looking for a fun packed adventure holiday, then you will be able to swim and search for crabs and the like in the plethora of rock pools. If you're a little braver though, you may want to surf across the waves to pass the time.

Very close to the Atlantic Coast Caravan Park is Godrevy Beach, along with Godrevy Point. It makes a lovely place to sit down of an evening and have a picnic, monitoring the sunset as the day draws toward a close. The lighthouse adds to the setting. You can also see dolphins and seals if you look carefully in the sea.

In between Portreath and Godvery lies astonishing sights on the Cornish coast. There are many footpaths to venture onto and take a trip around the wonders of nature. If you're a little on the lazy side though, you can get there by car or bus.

Nearby St Ives is another local tourist hotspot. It is well known by artists for having a so called â??magical light' and a very small, secluded fishing harbour tucked into the town. This very harbour has inspired artists for centuries. St Ives is scattered with blue flagged beaches, activities and lots of fantastic places to sit down at and savour the taste of good British food. All the places are very easily reached via car, train or the local bus service.

TOURING AND CAMPING

If you own a tent or caravan, you will be able to set it up for the night in one of the many serviced camping spots. Each one has a 16 amp hook up, ready to set up your home from home. The park owners have just refurbished the toilet and washing areas. Facilities in the park include a showering area, launderette, and a toilet block.
