South Cockett Caravan and Camping Park

Situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire, South Cockett Caravan and Camping Park is a family-run site that caters to touring caravans, mobile homes and tents.

The James family members Esme, Will and Steve personally supervise and maintain the site to the high standards that South Cockett is renowned for. The site is set in very pleasant rural surroundings with tree lined hedges. The site is level and is kept drained. There is good access to the site.

Pembrokeshire features majestic cliffs, sand dunes, broad river estuaries, cascading streams, gently rolling arable land and rocky outcropping all within a few miles of each other. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty with a large variety of flora and fauna.

The 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path twists and turns its way around the Pembrokeshire peninsula. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is unlike many other coastal walks in that you can still experience the unique sense of solitude and timelessness of walking by the sea.

Nearby Little Haven is a wonderful old fishing village with steep streets that lead to a sandy beach that has a slipway for small boats. This includes the local inshore rescue boat. During the summer the beach is popular with swimmers and divers but it is not really suitable for water sports.

When the tide is low there is pleasant walk along the beach to Broad Haven that features numerous caves and rockpools to explore. A pay and display car park is close to the beach. There are numerous shops and pubs that offer food and drink nearby as well.

Nearby Broad Haven is a large, amazing expanse of sand that runs the entire length of the Broad Haven Village. Bathers and water sports enthusiasts particularly love the beach. The village has plenty of pubs, a shop, restaurant, cafe and more. Their westerly facing beach offers great conditions for kite surfing, kite buggying, wind surfing and surfing.

DIRECTIONS: From Haverfordwest take the B4341 Broad Haven Road until you reach Broadway. Turn left where you see the official Caravan & Camping Site sign and you will find South Cockett 300 yards on the right. Ordnance Survey Landranger Sheet 157 or Outdoor Leisure Sheet 36 Grid Reference 879133
