Set in lovely Staffordshire countryside, Forestside Farm Caravan & Campsite is an organic dairy farm that features excellent views of the Dove Valley and Weaver Hills. The farm is located in a very rural part of the county. There are many great walks to enjoy both on the farm and in the surrounding countryside.

Forestside Farm Caravan & Campsite makes an ideal base for a weekend break or a longer holiday to explore the area.

Forestside Farms has been featured in Coolcamping "Tiny Campsites" 2010 edition and "The Rough Guide to Camping".

They have hard standings for 5 caravans available with hook-ups for electricity and adjacent water. They have a paddock area that can accommodate about 10 tents and 2 camping pods.

Facilities include water and chemical toilet disposal, toilets and free showers.

They feature:

- 2 Ladies toilet and shower rooms

- 2 Gents toilet and shower rooms

- Washing-up facilities, a fridge, kettle, microwave and freezer for campers' use.

Forestside Farm Caravan & Campsite have coarse fishing available on a small half acre pool. It contains a mixture of coarse fish. There is a limited amount of day passes available from the farm.

They allow well-behaved dogs to the site but they must be supervised by their owners.

There is a post office and a shop with fresh bread and milk in the nearby village of Marchington and Draycott. There is also a butcher's shop nearby where you can get all of your requirements for the barbeque.

The pleasant market town of Uttoxeter features Indulgence Café where you can enjoy a coffee and a cake in the centre of town.

There are many great country pubs and eating places in the local area to suit all tastes.

When you hire a camping pod is takes all of the trauma out of camping. You don't have to put up a tent or worry about packing up a wet tent if the weather happens to be bad.

Forestside Farm Caravan & Campsite has 2 camping pods available for hire. They are an eco-friendly alternative to camping. Camping pods are more secure than tents because they have lockable French windows which are double glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation. The pods have a small, high level window in the back wall that provides light and helps keep the living space well-ventilated. It aids through draft on hot summer days. Every pod features lighting, heating and a carpeted floor.

Their roof is designed to be able to deal with a sudden downpour and the pods walls have been insulated with sheep wool. There is a special foil layer under the roof that helps keep the summer temperatures at a comfortable level. The camping pods are practical no matter what the weather.

There is plenty of head room in the pods and they can accommodate up to 5 people. When you hire a pod you bring everything that you need for a camping trip except for the tent.

Each pod has a decking area and a small porch which is great sunbathing and eating outside. On rainy days camping pods offer a dry alternative to canvas camping. Each pod has its own picnic table.

Forestside Farm Caravan & Campsite has toilet and complimentary showers. They have 2 ladies toilets and shower rooms and 2 gents toilet and shower rooms.

The site provides washing-up facilities and use of a fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, toaster and freezer free of charge.

Dogs are not allowed inside of the camping pods. Pods are designed for families and family groups and they are not bookable to groups of youths or students.

Prices start from £35 per night Inc 2 occupants; additional occupants are £5 each per night.

Minimum stay 2 nights; Bank Holidays minimum stay 3 nights. 1 night stays available low season, subject to availability.

Payment in full upon booking; cancellation prior to 7 days of arrival date 50% refund. Booking is transferable subject to availability.
