Broomfield Holiday Park

Set on the banks of Lochbroom in Ullapool, Broomfield Holiday Park looks out to the Summer Islands and Hebrides.

Broomfield Holiday Park has a well-maintained and serviced site for those wishing to tour and camp in the Highlands. They are centrally located for visiting many of the most popular Highland destinations and they are set in an outstanding environment that is famed for its scenery and sunsets alike.

The park was established over 40 years ago by a local family who still own and run the site. They have geared their site and services to customers needs in this time so that campers have their expectations met fully.

Broomfield Holiday Park is the only caravan and camping park in Ullapool. They are privileged to offer one of the most outstanding beauty spots on the Highland coast.

Their park extends over 12 acres of level grass and they overlook the Summer Isles and Lochroom. The park recently was made into a conservation area to protect the land and views for future generations after the importance and quality of the site was recognised. The site has 72 hard standing pitches.

The site welcomes capers from all areas every year including backpackers, bikes, caravans, camper vans and full touring clubs. They have designed their site and facilities to meet all of their guests needs. They have facility blocks spread throughout the site. Guests can reach shops, cafés and restaurants that offer meals, groceries and souvenirs within a few minutes' walk of the site. The local fishing fleet provides some great seafood and there are many local craft shops that offer jewellery and clothes.

Broomfield is a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside and touring Wester Ross and the Highlands.

The fishing port of Ullapool is a yachting haven and ferry port with boats to Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. The town also boasts a small museum, arts centre, a leisure centre with swimming pool and plenty of pubs, and is a centre for walkers and other holidaymakers in the area.

Also worth a visit are Inverewe Tropical Gardens, Lael Forest Walk and Gardens, Knockan Nature Trail and the Falls of Measach.
